My name is Ethan Chapman and I am 10 years old and I am a published author and musician. I wrote the book “The Important People In My Community” in 2022 to show that everyone is important and that we should appreciate the different roles in our community. I was recognized in The Gadsden County Times on April 1, 2022 for publishing my book. I am inspired by my family and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. My parents have always taught my brother and I to treat people like you want to be treated. Dr. King was all about equality. I want to follow in those footsteps and inspire kids to appreciate others. Along with being an author, I play 3 instruments (Drums, Bass, and Piano) and I love sports, singing and dancing.
